Installing
Installing Zipped CAB File
- Before installing, make sure that your device meets system requirements.
- Download and unzip Birthdays.
- Upload appropriate cab file to your PocketPC.
- Tap the cab file on your PocketPC.
Installing EXE File
- Before installing, make sure that your device meets system requirements.
- Download executable version of Birthdays to your desktop computer.
- Run the downloaded file.
- Follow installation instructions.
Uninstalling
- Deactivate the plugin:
- Tap Start | Settings and select Personal tab and tap Today.
- Select the Items tab and uncheck the Birthdays plugin.
- Tap OK.
- Tap Start | Settings, select System tab and tap Remove programs.
- Find Birthdays plugin in the program list.
- Tap Remove.
How To Use
Configuring
- Tap Start | Settings, select Personal tab and tap Today.
- Select Items tab.
- Find and select Birthdays plugin in the today item list.
- Tap Options button.
Everyday Use
The plugin displays birthdays from your Contacts. Thus to work properly, you have to fill in the Birthday field for every contact that should be displayed by the plugin.
Tapping the plugin on the Today screen will enter Contacts, open config or do nothing according to the settings in the config.
Verbose mode displays all upcomming birthdays, brief mode displays only a number of birthdays and anniversaries. Tapping the plugin in brief mode opens a dialog with details (like in Verbose mode).
