Batti

Batti is a small application which shows you remaining power of your battery.

Downloading and Installing

System Requirements

Operating system:

  • PocketPC 2002
  • PocketPC 2003/SE
  • Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC
  • Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional

Hardware:

  • 200 MHz processor (ARM based).
  • 16 MB RAM.

Installing

Installing Zipped CAB File

  • Before installing, make sure that your device meets system requirements.
  • Download and unzip Batti.
  • Upload appropriate cab file to your PocketPC.
  • Tap the cab file on your PocketPC.

Uninstalling

  • Tap Start | Settings, select System tab and tap Remove programs.
  • Find Batti in the program list.
  • Tap Remove.

How To Use

Configuring

From version 1.1, Batti is configurable via config dialog.

To open config dialog:

  1. Start your favorite file manager.
  2. Go to the \Program Files\Batti\ path (the location where Batti is installed).
  3. Run batticfg.exe

Or:

  1. Tap the Batti on task bar.

Or you can still edit registry (for experienced users).

All settings are accessible via registry key: HKCU\Software\DaProfik\Batti

The items have the following meaning:

ColorFgForeground color
ColorFgACForeground color if the PDA is not AC power
ColorBgBackground color
ColorFrameFrame color
SecondsRefresh interval in seconds
ChargeIndicator0 - charging is not indicated, other value - indicate charging
HeightHeight of indicator
LeftMarginThe offset from the left margin of the screen

All color are stored in the form: 00BBGGRR, where RR, GG, BB are hexadecimal values for red, green and blue component of the desired color.

Known Issues

  1. If the Batti is installed on SD-card and PDA is turned off and then it is turned on, the Batti may not be running. Install Batti in main memory and it should work.
  2. If you use Gigabar, then install Batti AFTER Gigabar. If you uninstall Gigabar, you have to re-run Batti (or reinstall).
